Angie’s Waterloo is at the heart of Uptown Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Our newly renovated cozy dining room sets the tone for a relaxed family friendly meal.
Waterloo County has inspired us to put a twist on the tastes once favoured by the early German settlers. We enjoy serving you with our homemade country inspired foods including, fresh baked breads daily, Hand pounded and breaded pork schnitzel and our always tasty, Angie’s battered fish and chips. In addition to our dinners we offer breakfast served all day, including our breakfast special featuring Angie’s homemade bread from 8am-11am.
Every year, someone new discovers that having a meal at Angie’s is like going back home to eat. They find out what thousands have been discovering since 1962, that Angie’s is the place for genuine home-style cooking and good value. At Angie’s, the relaxed and friendly atmosphere makes you feel like you belong.
For many, breakfast at Angie’s is the way to start the day. Students, business people and families also make it a habit of joining us for lunch and dinner. Many long-time customers don’t let a week go by without stopping in for a plate of our famous fish and chips, the meal that made our reputation.
Angie and Bill Graham started the restaurant in their family home in1962. Angie’s heartwarming story and love for the community that she was part of shaped the character of the restaurant. Angie passed away November 2, 1997 but the business and her legacy continue as Teresa, Bob and Angie’s granddaughter Suzanne continue to serve hearty country style meals with all the trimmings. The menus have expanded considerably from the early days and offer a wide variety of foods for all tastes making Angie’s the place to come back to!
